I was born in Liverpool, England but emigrated to Australia with my family in 1999, where I lived in Darwin for many years before moving to Ipswich for a brief stint, then finally settling in cairns.
I came to nursing later in life (30’s) after having and raising my 4 boys. I graduated from TAFE in 2021 and have been an EN here ever since.
I always wanted to be a nurse and have truly found my calling in primary health care.
I love that I get to know my patients well, see families grow and support them in their times of need.
I love doing health checks on my regular patients, it’s a way of catching up, giving them dedicated one on one time with someone to listen to them and help them achieve their health goals.
I enjoy doing pre-employment medicals and am constantly learning new skills to stay up to date with the latest standards.
I love making vaccines as fun and stress free as possible.
Most of all I love working with such a great team of people here at RVMC.
