Dr Krishna Kandimalla

Dr Krishna Kandimalla is an experienced and highly qualified General Practitioner who has been caring for patients at Redlynch Village Medical Centre since January 2020. With more than 13 years of experience in General Practice, Dr Krishna provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families across Redlynch and Cairns.

Dr Krishna completed his MBBS in India in 1999, followed by a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and MRCGP in the United Kingdom in 2013. He attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. He previously worked in the United Kingdom from 2005 before continuing his medical career in Australia.

His areas of special interest include general family medicine, travel medicine, diabetes management, chronic disease management, child health and vaccinations. Dr Krishna is passionate about preventative healthcare and building lasting relationships with his patients, providing thorough and personalised care for people of all ages.

Outside of medicine, Dr Krishna enjoys travelling, watching movies and cooking. He also speaks Telugu and Kannada, in addition to English.
